The Cleveland Browns defeated the New York Giants 20-10 in Preseason Week 1 and here are three big takeaways from the game
It’s only one game and it’s the preseason, but that doesn’t mean fans of the Cleveland Browns shouldn’t be a little excited about what they saw on Thursday Night. The Browns flew to East Rutherford, New Jersey to take on the New York Giants and an offseason of hype finally hit the field.
New general manager John Dorsey worked tirelessly this offseason to rid this team of their losing culture and head coach Hue Jackson has also tried to do his part. Heck, the man jumped in Lake Eerie and called it ‘The Cleanse.’

Finally, on Thursday night, fans got to see the fruits of their labor. While it was just a preseason game, it was rather encouraging as they won 20-10. More importantly, they gave the fans some hope.
Here we will look back at that game with three big takeaways from Preseason Week 1.
