Colts vs. Seahawks live stream: Watch NFL Preseason Week 1 online
The Indianapolis Colts face the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, Aug. 9 in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Both the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks weren’t around for the playoffs last season, the former for more obvious reasons than the latter. With Andrew Luck missing the season with a shoulder injury, it’s safe to say that Indianapolis never really stood a chance at succeeding last year. As for Seattle, they had some awful injury luck in addition to simply watching some veterans wear down with other weak spots flaring up badly.
The Colts are certainly looking for things to change as they head into 2018 though. Not only have they been more prudently building their roster under the direction of general manager Chris Ballard, but they will also get Luck back under center this season. In fact, we can expect to see a fair amount of Luck in Week 1 against Seattle as they try to get the quarterback up to speed and back in form.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are a team that will look substantially different than we’ve seen them before. Russell Wilson will still be the quarterback, but their vaunted defense is a shell of what it once was. Not only are Richard Sherman, Michael Bennett and Kam Chancellor gone, but Earl Thomas could be as well if his demands for a trade are ultimately met before the start of the regular season.

It’s hard to say what we’ll see from Luck and the Colts in this game, and just as difficult to ascertain what the Seahawks defense they’ll be facing will look like. What we do know is that these two teams are question marks entering the new season, and the picture might be a bit clearer after this matchup.
