Every year a surprising player seems to find their way onto the final roster. Here are five underdogs who could make the Green Bay Packers‘ final roster cuts.
Like every other team in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers will have some tough decisions when it comes to making final cuts. The 53-man roster is always carefully crafted, and cutting players is never easy for general managers.
However, cutting certain players is usually in the best interest of the team going forward. Sometimes teams are able to sneak talented players back onto their practice squad, provided they aren’t signed or claimed off waivers by another team.

The Packers have an abundance of talent currently on the roster, so choosing the last 6-8 players could be difficult. Every year, they’ve shown not to be shy in making some shocking moves, so don’t be surprised if a proven veteran gets cut. With that in mind, here are five underdog players who could see their name on the final 53-man roster.
