Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos: NFL Preseason Week 1 Bold Predictions
The Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos kick off their 2018 preseasons on Saturday with a Week 1 showdown that’ll have us all beaming about the return of football.
It’s finally here. Real football has arrived, as the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos will find out first hand on Saturday when the two clubs meet in the Mile High City for their first preseason appearance of 2018.
I know it’s just the preseason, but it’s still football! Yes, we won’t see much or any of some of the biggest names on each team. Players like Kirk Cousins, Everson Griffen, Demaryius Thomas and Von Miller will likely spend most of those 60 minutes wearing hats and watching from the sidelines. Either way, it’s NFL season, baby!
So what can we look forward to on Saturday? Well for one, plenty of young, inexperienced players you may or may not have heard of yet. In my opinion, though, that just adds to the excitement. Many of these unknown youngsters will be getting their first taste of NFL action — that leaves the door wide open for surprise performances and eyebrow-raising plays.
In hopes of building up your excitement as we inch closer to August 11, I’ve put together a few bold predictions to prepare for this Preseason Week 1 showdown between the Vikings and Broncos. They’re meant to stretch the limits of logic, while still trying to stay within the realm of possibility. We’ll see how that goes…
Either way, here are they are — my bold predictions for the Vikings-Broncos Preseason Week 1 matchup that signals the kickoff of the 2018 campaign for both of these franchises. Whether or not they come true, it’s sure to be a hell of a game. So shut up and enjoy already!
