Rams vs. Ravens live stream: Watch NFL Preseason Week 1 online
The Los Angeles Rams face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Aug. 9 in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
There were certainly people that thought the Los Angeles Rams would be better last season than they were the year before. The switch from Jeff Fisher to young Sean McVay at head coach had to be worth some improvement. However, few could’ve predicted just how exciting LA would be and how drastically they’d improve. Now it’s about doing it again, starting with a preseason Week 1 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
Under McVay, Jared Goff took a monstrous step forward in his progression. After struggling mightily as a rookie, he looked more the part of a franchise quarterback for the Rams last season. Of course, a big part of that was Todd Gurley. But now this team could be even better after their massive offseason. After all, trades for Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib and Brandin Cooks will surely change their team, as will signing Ndamukong Suh.
Meanwhile, the Ravens are coming into this game looking to take a new direction. Their still going to win with their defense moving forward, but the preseason is perhaps the most interesting time for this team. That, of course, is because of Lamar Jackson, who they took at the end of the first round in the 2018 NFL Draft. Everything that he does throughout the preseason will be put under the microscope as people think he can be the future in Baltimore.

There’s a good chance that the Rams don’t show us much in Week 1 of the preseason as they look to keep guys healthy. While that may be so, at least we get to see Jackson and the Ravens back on the field.
