The Tennessee Titans face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Aug. 9 in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

As the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers start their run in the 2018 NFL preseason, they are undoubtedly coming from different places — but really, they are both looking to get past what happened last season. For Tennessee, that means moving on with a new coaching staff that will hopefully give them a shot of life. And for Green Bay, it’s all about getting Aaron Rodgers back on the field to lead this team.

Of course, we probably won’t see much of Rodgers leading the Packers on Thursday night in this contest. Even though he’s 100 percent healthy now, he’s still not someone that Green Bay is about to risk injury to in a meaningless exhibition game. However, we will get a look at a bunch of young players on both sides of the ball for this team that could have a major impact on the season, including Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, J’Mon Moore and Jamaal Williams.

It’s hard to say what the Titans will trot out there, namely if they will give the likes of Marcus Mariota or Derrick Henry very man snaps. However, what is definitive is that this team and their approach will be worlds apart under Mike Vrabel and Matt LaFleur than it was last season. The hope is that this will allow w team with a ton of budding young talent to take a big leap forward overall and do more than just make the playoffs and escape out of the Wild Card Round.

In truth, this might actually be a matchup that we’d rather see in the regular season than in the preseason. After all, the Titans and Packers appear to have their sights set on the playoffs, so that would be a much better contest to see them actually going at it. Having said that, we’ll learn a great deal of valuable information on Thursday night.
