3. Cortez Kennedy, DT (1990-2000)

Kennedy is the greatest defender in Seahawks history. He spent his entire 11-year career with the team and recorded a whopping 58 sacks from the defensive tackle position. He went to eight Pro Bowls, was a three-time First Team All-Pro, and was the 1992 Defensive Player of the Year. Kennedy is one of four players to have his jersey number retired by the Seahawks and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

2. Walter Jones, LT (1997-2008)

Shaun Alexander is probably happy he got to run behind Jones, it certainly helped his career numbers. Jones played his entire 12-year career with the Seahawks and only missed 12 games during that span.

The first round selection (sixth Overall) turned out great for the Seahawks and became one of the greatest left tackles to ever play. Jones made nine Pro Bowls and was a four-time First Team All-Pro. Jones is one of four players to have his jersey number retired by the Seahawks and is a Hall of Famer.

1. Steve Largent, WR (1976-89)

It’s strange, but whenever I think of the Seahawks I always think of Largent. At 5-11, 187 pounds and coming out of Tulsa, Largent was never a physically imposing player. He didn’t jump out on draft boards either, that’s why he fell to the fourth round of the 1976 draft, where the Seahawks picked him at 117th Overall.

Largent spent all 14 years of his NFL career with the Seahawks and became the franchise leader in all major receiving categories. He is one of four players to have his jersey number retired by the Seahawks. Largent recorded 819 receptions, 13,089 receiving yards, and a then NFL record 100 receiving touchdowns, which was more than enough to land him in the Hall of Fame.
