All 32 NFL teams are in the midst of training camp and the preseason has begun. What were the five best moves this offseason at tight end?

There is less than a month remaining before the start of the 2018 NFL regular season. Training camps are in full swing throughout the league. And the first full week of the preseason is now in the books as well.

So now is as good a time as any to take stock of this offseason and check out the best additions by teams when it comes to specific positions.

This series started with quarterback, moved to running back and then continued with wide receiver. Now it’s time to take a look at the tight end position, which has seen a revival of sorts in recent seasons. Players such as New England Patriots’ Pro Bowler Rob Gronkowski have upped the stakes in a league where the quarterback getting the football out quickly has become even more important.

Hence, here’s a look at the five best offseason moves when it came to the tight end spot this offseason. In 2017, there were three tight ends drafted in the first round and in this year’s selection process, the Baltimore Ravens used the 25th overall pick to grab South Carolina’s Hayden Hurst.
