The Cleveland Browns head into Preseason Week 2 after a strong Week 1 performance. But many questions remain about the team.
The Cleveland Browns are getting a lot of positive press this offseason. With the moves by general manager John Dorsey to the improved play in Preseason Week 1. Even HBO’s Hard Knocks is presenting the team in a non-dysfunctional light, which is a major improvement. But there are cracks starting to form in the façade of all is well in Berea.
All of this early success and positive karma could come crashing down in typical Browns fashion should the team falls flat in Preseason Week 2. This past week at camp saw a lethargic return from days off. There have been a couple fights in camp, most recently between Jarvis Landry and Terrance Mitchell.
This past week also saw offensive coordinator Todd Haley get in a shouting match with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. The Browns are lucky to have to alpha-males as coordinators, but can head coach Hue Jackson keep them in line?
There are several storylines to follow heading into Preseason Week 2. Tyrod Taylor gets a chance to face the team who traded him away after he led them to the playoffs. Former Browns first-round pick Corey Coleman will be back in town after being shipped off for a 2020 seventh-round pick. Revenge is in the air.
But these are minor storylines heading into Friday’s game. Here are three things to watch when the Browns face the Buffalo Bills on Friday night.
