The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot to improve on after last week’s loss. In Week 2, they look to bounce back against a familiar foe: The New England Patriots

It’s Week 2 of the preseason for the Philadelphia Eagles. This week matches the Eagles against their Super Bowl counterpart, the New England Patriots. This “rematch” won’t have all the hype surrounding a Super Bowl matchup, but you better believe that both teams will be amped up to play each other again.

The Eagles are looking to rebound from a less than stellar performance against the Steelers last week. While the 31-14 defeat looks bad on paper, nobody in the Philadelphia area seems too concerned since the Eagles rested many of their key players.

That being said, expect the Eagles to bounce back nicely. Under head coach Doug Pederson’s short reign, they have an impressive 6-3 preseason record and haven’t lost two games in a row yet.

Last week, we didn’t get to see Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles since he had muscle spasms in his neck that caused him to be sidelined. It is expected that he’ll see some playing time this week, but don’t get too excited. He’ll probably only partake in a handful of plays just to get himself acclimated back into the offense.

With the second game of the preseason we will get to see more minutes from the starters and a better glimpse of what the 2018 Philadelphia Eagles will look like. If you’re the diehard Eagles fan you claim to be, and plan on being glued to the television at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night, here are the things you’ll want to look for.
