Eagles vs. Patriots live stream: Watch NFL Preseason Week 2 online

The Philadelphia Eagles face the New England Patriots on Thursday, Aug. 16 in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

We have a rematch of Super Bowl 52 as the New England Patriots will host the Philadelphia Eagles in Preseason Week 2. There’s obviously nowhere near as much on the line in this one, but the storyline will be discussed nonetheless.

Entering the big game, it was a classic David vs. Goliath match. The Patriots were sending their five-time Super Bowl winning head coach and quarterback on the field as Bill Belichick and Tom Brady were looking to add more trophies to their case.

On the other side were the Eagles, led by backup quarterback Nick Foles. They already weren’t supposed to go as far as they had after losing star quarterback Carson Wentz, but there they were. They also weren’t supposed to win their first ever Lombardi Trophy with a reserve quarterback, but again they did.

Fast forwarding to 2018, the Eagles are still waiting to see Wentz in action after he suffered a torn ACL last season, and Foles even sat out Week 1. The Patriots also went with their star quarterback on the sidelines in the first exhibition game.

We don’t know for sure yet how long any of the big names for either team will see the field — if at all — but as the preseason moves along they will eventually get some reps in. Here are all the details you need to know to catch this game on Thursday night.

It seems like there won’t be many more years to catch Brady doing his thing as he turns 42 this season. As for Wentz and the Eagles, things are only getting better as he’s returning to a team that’s capable of winning it all, even without their best player as we all witnessed.
