The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, Aug. 18 in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

This nearly was one with a lot more on the line. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings each had a shot at representing their conferences in Super Bowl 52, but both fell short in their respective conference championships.

For Jacksonville, they had just surprised the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were guilty of looking past the young franchise, but couldn’t handle the New England Patriots. Minnesota missed hosting themselves in the Super Bowl when the eventual champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, knocked them off.

Now both these franchises look to take that next step. Jacksonville is banking on continuity. This offseason, their biggest move was agreeing to an extension with quarterback Blake Bortles. They did lose Allen Robinson but he wasn’t part of their run as he tore his ACL in Week 1.

Minnesota has taken a more proactive approach to try and improve this season. They went out and gave big money to Kirk Cousins, who has already got them looking like a better passing offense. It’s a must watch game as two strong teams look to be even better in 2018.
