Following our playoff predictions and worst teams in the AFC, it’s now time to focus on all the teams that will end up in the basement of their division in the NFC.

This is the second part of our two part series on all the teams that are going to finish in last place this season in their own respective divisions. We started the month off positive with the teams that will be in the NFC playoff picture, but they can’t all be winners. Now we turn our attention to the worst of the worst in the NFC.

All these teams will finish in last place for one reason or the other. Some may have glaring deficiencies or maybe their division is just brutal. In the worst case scenarios perhaps both. Of course injuries can change everything, but none of these teams have a legitimate shot to contend this year and will probably find themselves near the top of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Last year, I hit on three of four predictions on my last place losers in the NFC missing only on the Redskins who finished in third place ahead of the Giants. The Bears, Bucs and 49ers all landed in last right as I anticipated. Predicting that last place teams is significantly easier than pinpointing the division winners.

With that said, if you’re favorite team is on this list you’re probably in for a long season. Even if they manage to drag themselves out of the basement, don’t expect much more than mediocrity. Although, I will say, this conference is tougher to predict than the AFC this season, so maybe there is some hope for a few of you.
