The Seattle Seahawks face the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Aug. 18 in Week 2 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Both the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Chargers finished 9-7 last season, but that wasn’t enough for either of them to make the playoffs. For Seattle, they finished second place behind the Los Angeles Rams, who were a surprise team in their division.

If quarterback Russell Wilson and his teammates want to get back in the race this season, they have to not only overcome their opponents, but their offseason moves as well. Seattle has gone through a lot of changes with some big names like Richard Sherman, Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril, Kam Chancellor, and Jimmy Graham no longer there.

That could either make things harder because due to the loss of talent, or it could alleviate a lot of the issues they had last year with egos.

Los Angeles finished just behind the Kansas City Chiefs as they once again had to deal with a slow start to the season. The key for them and quarterback Philip Rivers will be to get things rolling in September, rather than waiting for midseason to turn it on. There may not be much on the line between these two in this August matchup, but it could help them work a lot of their kinks out.
