27. Cincinnati Bengals (27)

The starting team for the Cincinnati Bengals wasn’t great on Saturday night against Dallas, but they still won 21-13. All 21 points came in the second half after they moved on from their starters. With the ones out there, Cincy went to the half down 10-0, which isn’t a promising sign.

Running back Joe Mixon is supposed to be featured more in the offense this season, but he was shut down. He finished with just eight yards on four carries. Giovani Bernard added just two yards on his lone carry.

Quarterback Andy Dalton was better, going 5-of-7, but he had just 41 yards and kept coming up short on third downs. It’s concerning since they’re coming off a rough season and for some reason gave head coach Marvin Lewis a new contract despite reports suggesting he and the team were finally parting ways after last season.

Lewis has been mediocre for years and even when he was good, he couldn’t get it done in the postseason. The Bengals are 0-7 on Lewis’ tenure as head coach and there’s little about this team that makes anyone think that will be changing anytime soon. Thankfully for them, they still have a couple weeks in the preseason to try and figure some stuff out.
