1. Cameron Meredith

The last player to make this list shouldn’t be a surprise. Looking at the Saints roster though, he might fall through the cracks. Wide receiver is another position that gets snatched up quick with most reaching for Michael Thomas or Ted Ginn Jr.

However, one name that hasn’t been mentioned much is Cameron Meredith. Despite his almost year-long injury, Meredith is healthy as noted by his preseason debut. With the Saints luring him away from the Bears, he’s an interesting prospect heading into the season.

Meredith is a shoo-in to replace former Saint, Willie Snead in fantasy. Similar to Snead, he might not always get the ball. When he does, he’ll make the most of his opportunities. Considering he was getting balls thrown from Matt Barkley, Drew Brees is an upgrade and one Meredith has to take advantage of.

Meredith’s debut was shaky, but hopefully, he’ll be good to go now. Similar to Watson, it’s a good idea to wait and see how big Meredith’s role will be. With Ingram out, the Saints could shift their offensive focus, favoring their passing game. If not, Meredith is still an option to consider when drafting.
