The Atlanta Falcons will be traveling to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars on Saturday night. Here are three things you need to watch for.

The Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars are all set to do battle on Saturday night in both team’s third game of the 2018 NFL preseason. After dropping their first two games of August, the Dirty Birds are obviously looking to emerge victorious down in the sunshine state against the Jags. Regardless, I think we can all agree there’s nothing more important for the Falcons in Week 3 than to come out of this match-up healthy.

Unlike 30 other teams in the NFL, Atlanta only has two weeks to prepare for their first game of the 2018 regular season. Opening in Philadelphia, the Falcons will have a great chance to get some revenge against the team who knocked them out of last year’s playoffs. The Eagles have re-tooled in certain ways, but I don’t believe they are a lot better than Atlanta heading into the year.

Who knows, with a few key turnovers early in the football game, the Falcons could surprise everyone and knock off the defending champs on opening night.

As much as Atlanta is preparing to face Philly, they have work to do against Jacksonville on Saturday night. Beating the Jags would go a long way in the Dirty Birds young player’s confidence, so don’t buy into the lie that this result doesn’t truly matter.

Without further ado, take a look at three things to watch for in the Falcons game against the Jaguars in Week 3.
