3. Will Matt Ryan target Jalen Ramsey?

I don’t know what it is about young defensive-backs, but they sure do love to talk. Even though Jaguars defensive-back, Jalen Ramsey, has only played two seasons in the NFL, he apparently knows everything there is to know about every quarterback in this league. He not only took jabs at some high-profile quarterbacks in his latest GQ interview, but he called the NFL’s 2016 Most Valuable Player “overrated”.

Obviously, Matt Ryan is saying Ramsey’s comments didn’t bother him whatsoever, but if we’ve learned anything about the former Boston College standout, it’s that he’s a competitor. He isn’t going to let a 23-year old defensive back from Jacksonville have the last laugh.

With almost nothing on the line in this Jags, Falcons matchup on Saturday night, I’m very interested to see if Ryan intentionally takes a few shots Ramsey’s way. Ryan will be without his top receiving option in Julio Jones, but that doesn’t mean Calvin Ridley or Mohamed Sanu won’t try and make a play on Ramsey.

At the end of the day, Matt Ryan played in his first NFC Playoff game when Ramsey was only 15-years-old. While the veteran QB won’t tell the media those type of comments fire him up, I promise you he’ll do whatever it takes to demand respect on Saturday.
