The Philadelphia Eagles face the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, Aug. 23 in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

There are no two teams in the NFL coming into the 2018 NFL preseason on different ends of the spectrum than the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. The former is coming off of a remarkable season in which they went through the playoffs without their starting quarterback and still won a Super Bowl. The latter has won a single game over the past two seasons combined.

However, things are obviously turning around for the Browns in a big way. Whether it’s Tyrod Taylor this season or Baker Mayfield now and in the future, they finally seem like they have answers at the quarterback position. Meanwhile, the additions of Jarvis Landry, Denzel Ward, Myles Garrett and others make this team dangerous. And we may see the return of Josh Gordon this week as well, giving us a glimpse of what this offense can do.

As for the Eagles, well, the dress rehearsal game won’t be much of that for them. We’ll see a lot of Nate Sudfeld on Thursday night as Carson Wentz continues to recover and as Nick Foles still nurses an injury. Even still, they are a team that needs to stay hungry to defend their Super Bowl win, and a good showing in this critical Preseason Week 3 game will help with that.

We will certainly learn much more about the Browns on Thursday night than we will about the Eagles. The defending champs are still trying to get healthy and have everything in order for a title defense when the regular season rolls around. As for Cleveland, they are continuing to build in a way that will let them shed the “loser” label they’ve saddled themselves with in recent years.
