Here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider heading into Week 3 of the 2018 NFL Preseason.

With two weeks officially in the books, the so called “dress rehearsal” for teams will finally take place in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL Preseason, meaning football fans are that much closer to the real thing since September is right around the corner. Over the last two weeks, fans have been treated to plenty of exciting action, and while that should be the case once again in Week 3, the argument can be made that nothing will top the excitement of Adrian Peterson joining the Washington Redskins.

Losing Derrius Guice in the preseason opener due to a torn ACL was a crushing blow for the Redskins since the team already believed they earned a steal with the former LSU star in the second round of this year’s draft. And while there may be some concerns over Peterson being up there in age along with the fact that no teams were expressing interest up to this point, the veteran seems to have plenty of gas left in the old tank.

Plus, with Peterson in the mix, this should help take off any unnecessary pressure Alex Smith was feeling under center since the former Kansas City Chiefs star is still adjusting to playing on his new team. But before getting into more details over what to expect from Peterson against the Denver Broncos since this matchup is going to be quite the challenge, let’s take a look at 20 bold predictions surrounding Week 3 of the preseason for fans to take into consideration.
