The Dallas Cowboys are going to play the Arizona Cardinals Sunday Night in Preseason Week 3, here are three keys to their game to keep an eye on
Week 3 of the 2018 NFL Preseason is here and the Dallas Cowboys will be headed to Glendale, Arizona to take on the Arizona Cardinals. This third preseason game is usually referred to as a dress rehearsal, where the starters take more snaps than in other games before taking the last game off in preparation of the regular season.
That won’t be the case for the Cowboys this season. Due to injury concerns along the offensive line, Dallas is pulling some of their big name players in order to ensure they’re fully healthy when they start the year against the Carolina Panthers.
Quarterback Dak Prescott looks to join running back Ezekiel Elliott — who hasn’t logged a preseason snap yet — on the sidelines. That’s good news for players trying to make the roster as it opens up snaps for them to get their playing time.
With all that being said, we look at three keys to watch for in this game as several members of the Cowboys are still trying to get right before the season begins.
