It’s Preseason Week 3, a.k.a. the dress rehearsal game. What can we expect from the New York Jets in the 2018 edition of the Snoopy Bowl?

The Snoopy Bowl is upon us. It’s time for the annual tussle between the New York Jets and New York Giants in Week 3 of the preseason. This game is commonly known as the “dress rehearsal” game, because the starters for both teams typically play the longest this week across the NFL.

This week the Jets enter with a lot of questions that need to be answered: 1. What’s going on with the offensive line? 2. Who are the edge rushers going to be? 3. What’s going on with Darron Lee? 4. Who’s going to return punts? 5. And the grandaddy of them all, who’s the starting quarterback in Detroit on Sept. 10?

Some of those questions may be answered this week, and others may not even be answered by Week 1 when the Jets head to the Motor City to take on the Lions.

The major storyline for this game will be who will start at quarterback, because that’s usually a Week 1 indicator. In this piece we will look at three players who are the most important. Let’s take a look at three key players to watch in the 2018 Snoopy Bowl.
