Packers vs. Raiders live stream: Watch NFL Preseason Week 3 online
The Green Bay Packers face the Oakland Raiders on Friday, Aug. 24 in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Two teams that undeniably fall into the category of needing to see things in the dress rehearsal Week 3 of the 2018 NFL preseason are certainly the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers. Despite high hopes heading into last year for each team, both squads fell short of a spot in the postseason. Now things will hopefully turn around for them, though, and there’s reason to believe that’ll be the case.
For the Packers, the return of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is clearly their biggest thing. He was out most of last year with a broken collarbone, but looks ready to go now. Though Jordy Nelson, often Rodgers’ safety valve, is gone, the Packers went out and landed a big weapon in Jimmy Graham that will hopefully take the offense up a notch. And with an improved defense, this is a dangerous team.
Then we have the Raiders, who have brought Jon Gruden out of the ESPN booths to be their head coach once again. He has talent at his disposal with guys like Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Marshawn Lynch and so on — even if Khalil Mack is still holding out. However, it’s been a while since Gruden has been a coach in this league. As such, it’s hard to say how things could turn out.
Details for Friday’s game are below:
Date: Friday, Aug. 24
Start Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
Location: Oakland, CA
Stadium: Oakland Coliseum
TV Info: NFL Network
Live Stream: NFL.com, FuboTV
With Rodgers coming back, the Packers are surely going to be in a fight to win the NFC North, even if that division might be the strongest in the entire NFL. Meanwhile, the Raiders getting Gruden to come back leaves them with things kind of up in the air. What we can say for Oakland, however, is that it appears that it’ll either be a genius move or a colossal disaster — with little room in-between.
