The Atlanta Falcons have set high goals for their 2018 season. That said, here are our five bold predictions for the Dirty Birds this year.

The Atlanta Falcons are so darn close to their ultimate goal, but still have a whole season ahead of them to stay focused and fight for their dreams. This Dirty Birds squad is, arguably, the best professional football team we’ve ever seen in the state of Georgia, automatically meaning expectations are sky-high and fans are ready to get the year started.

After two straight-seasons of making the NFC Playoffs, anything less than playing football into January will be seen as a major failure.

I understand that kind of hype surrounding a team isn’t always the healthiest thing, but I truly believe this 2018 Dirty Birds squad is different. They not only have a great mix of veteran and rookie players, but head coach, Dan Quinn, knows what it takes to motivate his players and put them in a great position to win.

If anyone has a question of the character of the Falcons, look no further than their 10-6 record after losing Super Bowl LI in the most heartbreaking manner imaginable. Needless to say, not many teams come back from that kind of embarrassment.

That said, take a look at five bold predictions for the Falcons this year, and why they could make league history.
