3. Calvin Ridley will win 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year

It should almost be a crime a player as talented as Calvin Ridley would fall so far in the NFL Draft; however, the Falcons will gladly be reaping the benefits of everyone else’s mistake this past April. If you watched the rookie wide receiver against the Kansas City Chiefs last Friday night, you know what I’m talking about.

All kidding aside, Ridley has the opportunity to become one of the best offensive players in the entire NFL. He has the hands, quickness, and smarts to hang with the greats. Plus, he has a future Hall-of-Fame receiver in Julio Jones helping him along the way. There couldn’t be a better fit for Ridley anywhere else in the league.

In terms of 2018, we’re going to see Atlanta get him the football in a variety of ways. Whether he’s playing receiver or returning kicks, the Alabama superstar is a big play waiting to happen. Needless to say, I’m glad I don’t play defense for a team trying to cover Ridley and Jones in the same game. Goodness gracious.

As you see above, I do believe Ridley is going to win the 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Again, the Falcons are going to get him the football a lot, and when they do, he’s going to make defenses pay.
