This might sound too simple, but perhaps your best strategy is just avoiding awful defenses. Even if you’re someone who likes to stream defenses week-to-week based on matchups, just stay away from teams like the Colts and you should have at least marginal success.

Defenses are rarely going to win you a fantasy football championship unless they are just out-of-this-world in terms of creating turnovers. However, picking the wrong one can certainly lead to you losing out.
