1. Terrelle Pryor

Pryor has been limited in practice and hadn’t seen any game action in the preseason due to offseason ankle surgery, which he told us was due to a broken ankle and not the clean up that was initially reported. Clearly, the Jets wanted to bring him along slowly, because they feel he could be a big part of this offense.

With his size, 6-4, 228 pounds, he provides the Jets with a big red zone target on the outside, but he’s also fast enough to catch and run too. He proved this is his touchdown catch in the first half against the Giants.

As Matt Johnson of Sportsnaut showed us, he caught the ball on a shallow cross and gained nine yards after the catch. He created separation using his strength against B.W. Webb, and beat Andrew Adams to the pylon for the touchdown.

Admittedly, those two defensive backs may not make the Giants roster, or they will be buried on it. That said, Pryor still showed the strength to get away and speed to win to the pylon, and he likely won’t get the attention of the No. 1 players on the opponents. So, this is a very important play in his comeback.
