The Baltimore Ravens face the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, Aug. 25 in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After making the playoffs in 2016, the Miami Dolphins hoped that they were on the cusp of something good starting to happen. Then came an injury to Ryan Tannehill that threw those plans for a loop, and the team seemed to crumble a bit with him out. Meanwhile, the Baltimore Ravens are a team that have been to the highest of highs, but have had trouble sniffing that recently. Now these Ravens and Dolphins will meet in Week 3 of the 2018 preseason with something to prove.

Tannehill is back in the fold for the Dolphins, but there is truthfully not a lot of faith in this team overall. Their defense is aging or inconsistently young, outside of a few players like Reshad Jones. Meanwhile, their offense just traded away one of the best players in Jarvis Landry this offseason and it looks as if they have little to replace him. Thus, this team is littered with question marks.

A similar theme is found when looking at the Ravens roster, particularly at Joe Flacco. Yes, he’s won a Super Bowl with Baltimore, but he’s been far from that level sense. Meanwhile, the defense has yet to be good enough to carry a wholly lackluster offense that, despite some additions like Michael Crabtree this offseason, could likely suffer the same fate again in 2018.

There are actually a number of similarities when it comes to the Dolphins and Ravens as they head into this preseason matchup. When it comes to how 2018 could play out, both teams seem to have limited ceilings, but their floor is somewhat in question. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see what they can get to start to come together with these exhibitions coming to a close.
