2. Hope for a healthy offensive line or it will be a long season

If anything is important for the Dallas Cowboys to be successful this season, it is the offensive line needs to be healthy, because if not, we all witnessed what the offense line play looks like without the starting five as one unit when facing a good pass rush.

Not having Travis Frederick, Tyron Smith and Zack Martin on the field together not only looks weird when watching the Cowboys offensive line, but the play without them was pretty poor too, which ultimately led to an underachieving performance by the entire offense.

It was also some bad luck to see Dustin Stanton injure his knee as he battles for a roster spot at left guard. Speaking of the left guard spot, it was good to see Connor Willams get more playing time at the position as he’ll be the starting left guard after being drafted in the second round this past April.

With this game, it isn’t the fact this is what the real starters will play like in Week 1, but it should make some wonder how the players who were on the field performed and what happens if they are called upon this season at some point. Most likely some of the players on the offensive line will need to be called upon, and seeing how some of them played just doesn’t give the offensive unit a vote of confidence if one of the starters were to be injured for an extended period of time.
