16. Houston Texans (14)

Words can’t even describe how great it is to see Deshaun Watson healthy again under center for the Houston Texans when looking at how much of an impact he made during his rookie campaign before suffering a torn ACL. Watson’s performance against the Rams in limited action didn’t stand out like other quarterbacks in Week 3, but at least the former Clemson star is getting some much needed time on the field before September.

For years, Houston was always considered to have one of the top defenses in the league thanks to J.J. Watt’s leadership, but the team always lacked a franchise quarterback. As a result, it was tough for the Texans to live up to expectations of being a top contender in the AFC, as they would always come up short in the playoffs.

Watson still has a lot of work to do since he’s only entering his second NFL season, but also the youngster appears to be the kind of quarterback that’s only going to continue getting better with experience. Houston may have experienced plenty of frustrating years at the quarterback position, but Watson seems well worth the wait when seeing how he’s a special kind of player for this offense.
