2018 NFL Power Rankings: Concerns for Eagles following Week 3 preseason
By Dan Parzych
15. Baltimore Ravens (20)
All things considered, the Ravens will go down as one of the biggest winners of the preseason, as they enter the final game with an undefeated 4-0 record (Hall of Fame Game), with their most recent win coming against the Dolphins over the weekend. Back in April, Baltimore made the decision to get back in the first round to land a potential quarterback of the future in Lamar Jackson, and despite being a work in progress, the former Louisville star had one of his better games in Week 3.
Completing 7 of 10 passes for 98 yards with a touchdown was impressive, but Jackson was also effective with his legs as well after rushing for 39 yards with another score. Jackson’s time may end up being limited as a rookie since Joe Flacco is going to be the quarterback of this team for as long as he wants, but it will be interesting to see if John Harbaugh tries to use some trickery with his new weapon.
Offense has been one of the main reasons why Baltimore has missed out on the playoffs in each of the last three seasons, but all that could change in 2018. If the offense comes through along with the defense doing their part, the Ravens will be in great shape.
