12. Los Angeles Chargers (10)

Another team that is thrilled it’s only the preseason is the Los Angeles Chargers after watching them get crushed by the New Orleans Saints 36-7, although the game could have been much different with key players receiving more time on the field. As long as the Chargers can start off the regular season on a positive note unlike last year, this will give them a much better chance of earning a trip to the playoffs.

Despite winning six of their final seven games last season, it still wasn’t good enough for Los Angeles to punch a ticket to the postseason, as their 0-4 start to 2017 came back to haunt them in the worst way possible. Hopefully, the Chargers will use this as a learning lesson to make sure it doesn’t happen again this season since many believe this team could be one of the best in the AFC, especially with their stellar defense.

Also, Los Angeles is fortunate enough to have one of the league’s most competitive quarterbacks in Philip Rivers, who would love a shot at earning a Super Bowl since retirement isn’t too far away. When taking everything into consideration, it’s hard not to like the Chargers for 2018 when seeing the talent they get to work with.
