The Philadelphia Eagles have one final game remaining this preseason. With the starters taking a rest it’s time for some lesser known players to step up.

Thursday will be the long awaited final preseason game of the season for the Philadelphia Eagles. With an 0-3 record, there hasn’t been much to get excited about thus far. Many Eagles fans are anxiously awaiting the regular season opener, hoping that superstar Carson Wentz will be cleared by the doctors for action.

Those fans will have to wait one more week though. This week the Eagles take on the New York Jets in their preseason finale. Like every other team in the NFL don’t expect to see many starters playing in this final week. With the Eagles opening the NFL season on a Thursday night they’ll need all the rest they can get for their key players.

Week 4 of the preseason is purely for the players on the roster bubble. This game could decide if a player makes the team, makes the practice squad or gets cut and has to look for another job.

The Eagles roster is currently consisting of 89 players, they have to get that roster number down to 53 by Saturday. That leaves many players in danger of being cut. Here are the players with the most to prove this week to insure themselves a role on the Eagles squad this upcoming season.
