The Denver Broncos face the Arizona Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 30. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Quarterback was a massive issue for the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals last season. The Broncos chose to address this by signing Case Keenum in free agency this offseason. With their plight, the Cardinals did one better by both signing Sam Bradford and using their first-round pick on Josh Rosen. We won’t see any of these players, unfortunately, as they meet in NFL Preseason Week 4, but it’s what hangs over their season.

The Broncos defense has been their bread and butter over the years, since their Super Bowl 50 victory. Von Miller still anchors this unit, but they have seen some changes after trading Aqib Talib this offseason. Still, the hope is that Keenum coming into town will allow their offense to finally be good enough to once again take advantage of the talent they have on defense.

There is a talented defense in Arizona, but also questions. New head coach Steve Wilks has high hopes for the group that includes Patrick Peterson and Chandler Jones. However, they have to pick up a new system and deal with some losses. Meanwhile, though the offense gets David Johnson back, the offensive line is worrisome and the quarterback position has talent, but is somewhat unreliable for now.

It’s safe to say that the Broncos and Cardinals would like to forget what happened last season and get past it. However, that may not be the easiest thing to do given the state of these teams. There is upside there, but things have to break right for Denver and Arizona to have big parts to play in the playoff picture.
