Cowboys vs. Texans live stream: Watch NFL Preseason Week 4 online

The Dallas Cowboys face the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 30 in the NFL Preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

There’s a false assumption that the final preseason game means nothing. Sure, the starters for each team often sit this one out, but there are roster spots up for grabs — which makes games like the Week 4 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans worth watching.

For Dallas, we won’t see quarterback Dak Prescott — who sat out Week 3 as well against Arizona — or running back Ezekiel Elliott ‚— who hasn’t played at all in the preseason.

What we will see though is players like running back Darius Jackson and wide receiver Lance Lenoir trying to make the team. Jackson was originally drafted in 2016 by Dallas but was cut and picked up by the Cleveland Browns. He’s back this season and fighting with rookie Bo Scarbrough for the No. 3 running back jo.

As for Lenoir, he’s trying to justify a roster spot as well, but two muffed punts against the Arizona Cardinals has his status up in the air.

Houston could see some battles figured out as well. Running back Tyler Ervin seems to be behind Troymaine Pope for the final running back spot and Joe Webb is trying to prove he should be the No. 2 quarterback over Brandon Weeden.
