Indianapolis Colts: T.J. Green

When it came to the biggest disappointments from the 2017 season, the Indianapolis Colts ranked right near the top of the list, although the argument can be made that things would have been much different with a healthier Andrew Luck under center. Based off how this month has been during the preseason, the Colts have every reason in the world to believe they can return to the level of being contender in the AFC, which of course is always easier said than done.

Luck can look amazing as he wants on offense after missing all of last season with a shoulder injury, but when seeing how the AFC South is shaping up to be, Indianapolis is going to need as much help as they can get on defense as well. Back in 2016, the Colts were hoping T.J. Green would turn out to be an effective safety, but the 23-year-old hasn’t been able to avoid the bust label when looking at his lack of impact.

With no hope of improvement in sight, Green is another one of those players on this list that Indianapolis needs to realize was a poor investment, and simply move on. Otherwise, the Colts are only going to continue being disappointed on defense when it comes to Green.
