The Los Angeles Rams face the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, Aug. 30 in Week 4 of the 2018 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In 2017, no one counted on the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints being favorites in the NFC playoff race. Despite the lack of faith, both teams were among some of the best. The same can be said about the team going into 2018 and their matchup last season proves just that.

Heading into week 4 of the preseasons, both teams are likely to rest starts. Regardless, it’s going to be an intense game. When the two teams met last season, it was an intense and close game with the Rams coming out on top. Even though they’re incredibly similar teams, they are different in some fundamental ways.

Most noticeably with their quarterback as Jared Goff is only in his 3^rd year while Drew Brees is close to retirement. It’s unclear if either will take the field but seeing the two throwing a couple passes would be great. It’s another chance for us to see some free-agent hopefuls and draft picks.

What should get fans most excited is their defenses. The Saints and Rams are both stacked at defense, making it a challenge for their offenses. The Rams have a lot of experience while the Saints are a young but hungry defense. Watching this preseason game could just a preview of what’s to come in November when the two meet for real.
