As the 2018 season arrives, every team already has areas where they could improve come the 2019 NFL Draft, and here are the biggest needs for each team.

The 2018 NFL regular season will kick off in less than a week. Teams will finalize their rosters and we’ll be on our way, and NFL Draft picks will look to make an immediate impact.

The offseason saw teams improve their roster with free agency and the draft. However, not every weakness could be strengthened. There are teams who have more holes to fill than a lotus seed pod. Then there are the teams who are more complete.

With that in mind, let’s take a long look ahead to the 2019 NFL Draft and the early biggest needs for all 32 teams.

Arizona Cardinals – Offensive Tackle

The Arizona Cardinals satisfied a couple needs in the 2018 NFL Draft. They drafted their future franchise quarterback in Josh Rosen, along with Christian Kirk for him to throw to. However, they don’t have an inside protector.

D.J. Humphries moved over from right to left tackle and should perform well. Still, they’ll need to upgrade the position and move Humphries back to the right side to ensure they have two high-quality tackles for their hopeful franchise quarterback.

Atlanta Falcons – Defensive Tackle

There’s a glaring hole along the defensive line for the Falcons, specifically at defensive tackle. Dontari Poe left via free agency, but his presence in the middle left long before that. The Falcons weren’t able to fill the hole in the first two rounds of the draft. Deandrin Senat from South Florida is a solid shade nose, but he’s rookie looking to get his feet under him.  They can use a massive body to protect their linebackers and Grady Jarrett, who excels as a one-gap penetrator.

They also recently released safety Ron Parker and picked up Jordan Richards, who started five games for the Patriots. However, Richards’ not exactly a proven player, so there’s a huge question mark at safety too.

Baltimore Ravens – Wide Receiver

The Ravens are in desperate need of a wide receiver — and have been for quite some time. The blazing fast former first-round pick, Breshad Permian, hasn’t panned out. And the rest of the group feels like a mix of twos and threes that include Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead and John Brown.

There isn’t a game-changing dynamic receiver on the roster. Comparably, in their division, the Steelers have Antonio Brown, the Browns have Jarvis Landry, and the Bengals have A.J. Green. Unless the Ravens have a hidden gem on their roster, they could end up using an early pick on a wideout in the 2019 NFL Draft.
