Indianapolis Colts – Offensive Line

The Colts should surround Andrew Luck with a brick wall. On the left side of the line, there’s a solid pairing with Anthony Castonzo and the potential of rookie Quenton Nelson. The right side has NFL journeyman Austin Howard at right tackle and Matt Slauson at guard. There’s no doubt the Colts should look for an offensive lineman again in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Jacksonville Jaguars – Offensive Guard

Some may suggest quarterback has the Jaguars biggest need, but they were a few plays away from being the AFC reps in the Super Bowl — and it wasn’t Bortles’ fault. They can, however, improve along the right side of the offensive line. Entering the last year of his rookie deal A.J. Cann needs a monster season at right guard. Still, the inconsistencies may ward off the front office. Finding a combo tackle is something the Jags need to solidify their line.

Kansas City Chiefs – Cornerback

The Chiefs desperately need help at cornerback and they’ll need to address it in 2019. Marcus Peters’ absence will take its toll on the Chiefs defense. Kendall Fuller is a solid pickup. Steven Nelson is solid, but doesn’t make game-changing plays and he’ll be a free agent after this year. Pass rusher is another question mark since Dee Ford had a disappointing 2017 campaign after a solid 2016.

Los Angeles Chargers – Tight End

Hunter Henry went down with an injury and 30-year old NFL vet Virgil Green is their current starter unless Antonio Gates comes back. Safety is another possible hole, even with Derwin James. Jahleel Addae is okay, but doesn’t make enough plays on the ball.

Los Angeles Rams – Outside Linebacker

Currently, Matt Longacre is the Rams returning sack leader at outside linebacker with 5.5 in limited action. His bookend is an unproven albeit underrated prospect from the 2017 draft class, Samson Ebukam, who managed 2.0 sacks last year as rookie. Either one of these players can have a breakout year, but as of now, they are question marks.
