The Minnesota Vikings have some lofty expectations going into the 2018 season. Here are five bold predictions for the upcoming season.

The 2017 season will forever be remembered as one of the greatest in Minnesota Vikings’ history. Although it eventually ended in agony, hardly anyone could have predicted exactly how their season played out — which is why no bold prediction should be scoffed at.

For instance, how many people would have guessed at the beginning of last season that Case Keenum, a journeyman backup, would have been a blessing in disguise? How many people would have guessed Adam Thielen would break out for 1,276 yards?

How many people could have predicted the Vikings would win with no time on the clock after the New Orleans Saints took the lead with 25 seconds left in the 2018 Divisional Round of the playoffs, in what was dubbed the ‘Minnesota Miracle‘? And best yet, how many would have guessed Teddy Bridgewater would ever play football again?

The answer to all of these: almost no one.

So, with that in mind, appreciate the following five predictions for what they are: bold, somewhat unlikely, but yet, still possible. After all, the NFL is one of the most unpredictable leagues in existence, so essentially anything could happen. Therefore, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings’ 2018 season.
