24. Buffalo Bills (25)
After all of the frustrating seasons consisting of coming up short, the Buffalo Bills finally put an end to their playoff drought last year, and even though they lost right away during Wild Card Weekend, it does bring hope for 2018. With that being said, defense was the main reason behind the success of the Bills last season, and early signs look to that being the case once again since the offense has a ton of questions, especially at the quarterback position.
Signing AJ McCarron in the offseason seemed like a great replacement to Taylor at the time since the former Bills quarterback received plenty of opportunities over the years. But after sending McCarron to the Oakland Raiders in a trade, it looks like Buffalo is ready to roll with Nathan Peterman in the mean time until Josh Allen, who was selected in the first round of April’s draft, is ready to take over the starting roll under center.
Until then, the questions are going to continue on offense for the Bills, as the unit could be the difference maker on whether this team remains a top AFC contender. Buffalo’s defense came through in a big way last season, and while it’s unfair to put most of the pressure on them once again, the team doesn’t have that any other choice.
