26. Cincinnati Bengals (27)

Going 3-1 in the preseason was quite impressive for the Cincinnati Bengals, as the offense seems like it’s finally going to hit a whole new level after being inconsistent for the most part over the last two seasons. But as every football fan knows, just because a team plays well in the preseason doesn’t necessarily mean that same team is going to find similar success during the regular season since this is when it matters the most.

For reasons that can’t be explained, the Bengals continue to reward Marvin Lewis with contract extensions he doesn’t deserve. And while one would think missing out on the playoffs in 2018 for a third year in a row would result in Cincinnati finally parting ways with their head coach, Lewis seems like his job will be safe, no matter what.

Once again, Lewis will enter a new season with his team having plenty of talent to work with on both sides of the football, especially on offense. Andy Dalton was already fortunate enough to have one of the league’s most dangerous receivers to work with in Andy Dalton, but Lewis and the Bengals hope to see Joe Mixon reach a new level with more responsibility during his second NFL season.
