The Atlanta Falcons will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week One of the 2018 NFL Regular Season. Here are 3 bold predictions for the game.

The Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles are all ready to do battle in Week 1 of the 2018 regular season on Thursday night. In case you’ve forgotten, Philly was the team who ultimately ended the Dirty Birds season in 2017, knocking them out of the NFC Playoffs in the Divisional Round last January. As you may imagine, the Falcons will do everything in their power to not let that happen again.

It’ll be interesting to see how Atlanta reacts to watching Philadelphia’s Super Bowl celebration before kickoff, given the fact the Falcons are still hunting for their first Lombardi Trophy. Not to mention, when you remember the Dirty Birds were only a few yards away from beating the Eagles in last year’s playoffs, you’ll understand why these Falcons will play with a chip on their shoulder all night long.

Regardless of past history between these squads, this matchup features two of the best teams in the NFL heading into 2018. Sure, Philadelphia is the defending Super Bowl Champions, but they have a really good team coming back again for this year. On the other side, Atlanta has retooled and added some big-time pieces to their already-talented roster.

Needless to say, we’re in for one heck of a fight between the Falcons and Eagles.

That said, take a look at three bold predictions for the Dirty Birds when they square off against Philly on Thursday night.
