2018 NFL Picks, score predictions for Week 1
Tennessee Titans (0-0) at Miami Dolphins (0-0)
Sunday, Sept. 9, 1 PM ET
Right now, I’m extremely uncertain about the Tennessee Titans heading into 2018. On one hand, they could legitimately contend for one of the Wild Card spots in the AFC. On the other hand, there’s the potential for this team to flounder after numerous offseason adjustments.
Luckily for them, a Week 1 matchup with the Miami Dolphins should be a walk in the park.
Based on their current roster and what we saw during the preseason, the Dolphins could very well be one of the worst teams in the league in 2018. The offense is devoid of dangerous weapons, the defense lacks enough proven playmakers to be anything more than average, and who knows what we’ll see from Ryan Tannehill.
That leaves the Titans will little reason to worry. This will be the perfect opportunity for Marcus Mariota and Co. to work out the kinks. It’s almost like the NFL scheduled this game with the intent of giving Mike Vrabel an easy game to begin his head coaching career.
Don’t be surprised if this one is over by halftime.
Prediction: Titans win 28-6
