Fantasy Football 2018: Start or sit for Week 1

The wait to set your fantasy football lineups is finally over. Who should you start, or sit, in Week 1?
If you’re reading this: Congratulations! You made it through another long, treacherous offseason without football. After all the mock drafts and over-analyzing everything up to your fantasy football league’s draft, the time for talk is over. Everything from this point forward counts in your efforts to call yourself league champion.
Per common fantasy football wisdom, you simply don’t sit star players. Following this mantra, you won’t see guys in the likes of Todd Gurley, Rob Gronkowski or Antonio Brown on this list. Instead, this will be a helpful guide for those of you who might be on the fence about a certain player, or perhaps you’re seeking a second opinion.
A lot of questions pertaining to your fantasy team’s will be answered week one. How does the absence of Le’Veon Bell affect the Pittsburgh Steelers? How will newcomers such as Allen Robinson and Trey Burton fare for the Chicago Bears? Will any rookie quarterback prove himself to be fantasy relevant by the end of the season?
When it comes down to it, we cannot control what happens on the field. The best we as consumers of this game can do is try to gather information and use it to our advantage. Here are some players to start, and sit, for week one of the 2018 season.
