1. Jay Ajayi needs to get the ball more. FEED THE MAN!

When Philadelphia traded for the former Miami Dolphin running back Jay Ajayi, I called it an excellent move. I also talked about how it helps the Eagles now and in the future, and well it has already helped in the future. Ajayi was arguably the best player out of the Eagles skill players on Thursday night. Every time he touched the ball he showed a burst and power running in between the tackles.

Oddly enough, it also looked like Ajayi was playing hurt, as he was very slow to get up and seemed to limp a couple of times. However, even with the speculative injury, Ajayi showed he deserves to get the ball more. He ended the night with 15 carries for 62 yards and two scores. 15 carries are not bad, but with the way Ajayi was running the ball, he needs to touch it at least 20 times.

His two touchdowns were the Eagles only touchdowns of the night. Outside of Agholor, he was also the only bright spot on offense for the Birds. Foles could have benefited more by just handing the ball off to Ajayi.

Had it not been for Ajayi dominating the game, Philly would not be 1-0. Doug Pederson needs to keep that in mind as he makes his game plan for next week. Ajayi was yelling for Pederson to feed him during the game, and Pederson needs to listen. FEED THE MAN!
