The Chicago Bears face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday Night Football in Week 1. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It’s Week 1 of the 2018 NFL regular season and the good people at NBC start things off with a classic NFC North battle. The Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears in a contest that’s always worth watching.
Returning to the field after missing most of 2017 is Aaron Rodgers, who has many new faces in his passing arsenal. None are bigger than free agent pick up Jimmy Graham. The former Seattle tight end gives Rodgers the most complete pass-catching threat at the position he’s ever been able to utilize.
Aside from passing target, the Packers were focused on stopping the opponents passes. They added Jaire Alexander in the first round of the draft as well as Joshua Jackson in the second — to join Kevin King, their second-round pick from a year ago.
The three young corners will be tasked with slowing down a revamped Bears passing attack. Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel are the new wideouts for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. There’s also tight end Trey Burton in the mix, giving them a much better chance at moving the ball through the air.
Chicago also made the highly praised trade for pass rusher Khalil Mack, who hopes to make his debut with the Bears this weekend.
All those storylines are great, but you don’t need a reason to watch the Bears and Packers, just the information on how to watch, which we have for you here:
Chicago looks to be a much-improved team from a year ago and there’s no better way to test that out of the gates than with a contest against the Packers. It’s Week 1 on Sunday Night Football and it’s a definite must-watch game.
