Baltimore Ravens (1-0) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-0)

Thursday, September 13, 8:20 PM ET

It’s going to be very easy to overrate the Baltimore Ravens after their Week 1 drubbing of the Buffalo Bills. While it was certainly an impressive win, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt seeing how miserable of a team the Bills appear to be.

Then again, the same can be said for the Cincinnati Bengals. Beating the Indianapolis Colts was great, but it was far from a dominant performance against another club lacking top talent outside of Andrew Luck. So, with this one, I’m going with the more talented of the two franchises.

That would be the Ravens, who boast a better defense and a more well-rounded offense. Neither team has a sensational quarterback, but Joe Flacco is enjoying a resurgence of sorts and Alex Collins is an underrated running back. The receiving corps is also dangerous with guys like Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead and John Brown out wide.

Andy Dalton and the Bengals will keep it interesting. When the final whistle blows, though, it’ll be the Ravens who walk away with the win due in large part to their stingy, opportunistic defense.

Prediction: Ravens win 27-17
