After seven months of waiting, the 2018 season has officially arrived and daily fantasy football is a part of our lives. To make sure you’ve got the perfect NFL FanDuel lineup for Week 2, I’ve put together what I believe is the best bunch of players taking the field on Sunday.

It’s all about figuring out your FanDuel fantasy football strategy and using that to guide the creation of your lineup. Do you want to go with the high-risk, high-reward players? Or try to play it safe by going with the middle-of-the-road guys who are consistent but offer little big-point potential? As you’ll soon see, my approach is a mix of the two.

Keep in mind, though, that there’s one thing I hold above all else when putting these lineups together. Matchups reign supreme in daily fantasy football. It’s easy to want to grab the best players and biggest names on a weekly basis. However, if a top-flight receiver is playing against the best defense in the NFL, it generally advisable to avoid that matchup.

Instead, pay attention to playmakers going up against inferior opponents. Chances are you’ll enjoy far more success if you play the matchups instead of spending big on the superstars.
