FanDuel NFL Lineup: Building the perfect DFS strategy for Week 2
WR1: Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs, $8,100
Average FanDuel Points Per Week: 38.8
Opponent: Pittsburgh Steelers
We all knew Tyreek Hill was good, but I wasn’t expecting a 38.8-point performance from him in Week 1. Well, the Chiefs needed someone to be the superstar and go-to target for new quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Hill raised his hand enthusiastically. Even against a solid Pittsburgh Steelers defense, look for the Chiefs’ explosive wide receiver and all-around weapon to put together another epic fantasy performance.
WR2: Demaryius Thomas, Denver Broncos, $7,000
Average FanDuel Points Per Week: 15.3
Opponent: Oakland Raiders
Right now, the Broncos offense is firing on all cylinders. Despite three interceptions by Case Keenum, Denver was scoring early and often in Week 1, with plenty of players pitching in big fantasy performances in the process. Although Demaryius Thomas wasn’t the biggest producer, I’m expecting a huge effort from him against the Oakland Raiders. With the defense keying in on Emmanuel Sanders, look for the intimidating receiver to have a career day.
WR3: Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans, $6,300
Average FanDuel Points Per Week: 9.2
Opponent: Houston Texans
I don’t see a bright future for the Tennessee Titans. Especially with Marcus Mariota hurt and Blaine Gabbert on deck, it could be a rough couple of weeks for a team that was hoping to contend for an AFC South title in 2018. With that said, whoever is under center needs to have someone to throw to. With Delanie Walker done for the year, many of the targets will now be headed Corey Davis’ way. Expect the sophomore receiver to put up big numbers, due in large part to volume.
